Kyoto Guide – Stroller-friendly temples

Are you planning to go to Kyoto with your children? It is EXTREMELY important to plan in advance.

Kyoto is VERY different to Tokyo in that it is even more difficult to locate the child-friendly sightseeing spots, cafes, and baby rooms.

On top of that there is LESS English language and translations available, so it can be quite a struggle.

That’s why it is so important to plan in advance and allow enough time for transportation to and from the sites and for your children to relax. If you do this, you can really have the most amazing experience in this beautiful historical city.

This post is about stroller-friendly Kiyomizudera.

Whether you only plan to be in Kyoto for 1-2 days or 1-2 weeks, don’t miss this temple!

Kiyomizudera is the most amazing temple – on top of a hill and with lots of gorgeous little streets to stroll around.

Kiyomizu-dera Temple opens at 6:00 a.m., but the closing time changes depending on the season.
