The Meiji Shrine is located just around the corner from Harajuku Station. Access to the shrine is via a beautiful tree-lined path. If you go there on a weekend, you might even have the chance to see a real traditional Japanese wedding. The wedding kimonos are amazing and fascinating for children as well as parents. A good time to visit the shrine is in the morning at about 10am, then move onto Omotesando for coffee, shopping and playtime.
