Do you wish your children had more chances to interact with animals?
Living in Tokyo, this is something I often think about. I LOVE animals. We always had a dog when I was young. But living in the city makes it very difficult for my son to have this kind of experience.
The great thing about Tokyo is that even if you can’t have your own pet, you can go to a pet cafe!
I used to live in Jiyugaoka and often walked past this cute cat cafe. It always looked clean and tidy, and there were lots of cats and people in there having fun! It is only open on the weekends though and is always busy, so we always seemed to miss going there.
I finally had the chance to take my son the other day, and it was great! It is a big open room with cats, kittens, rugs to sit on, and toys to play with. My son had a wonderful time playing with the kittens and frolicking around!

How lovely! My son also adores animals and living in the city makes chances to interact with them few and far between.
We do not have cat/rabbit/bird cafes in Paris, but I bring him to the botanical plant/animal shop every once in a while. It is like a free domestic animal zoo… 🙂
This is really great! I will definitely take my son there.
Last time we tried to go to one near Kichijoji station, but they didn’t allow children. So this is a good news. Thanks
