Thanks for the post! We’ll be traveling to Tokyo in a month with our 4.5 year old and 20 month old and so I am starting my research in earnest now 🙂 That restaurant seems very relaxed and a good place to eat with kids — would you say many of the kaiten-zushi places around Tokyo are like that, or would you recommend any in particular? Great site…it’s been so informative!
HI Penny! Thanks for your message. I find all kaiten-zushi places are child-friendly. There aren’t many in Tokyo city though – they can be hard to find! Most of them are in the suburbs. There is a great sushi restaurant in Roppongi Hills (B2F of Metro Hat) and there is also a good one at Meguro Station (across the road from Starbucks). There is also a good one in Omotesando, close to Oriental Bazaar. Hope this helps and have a wonderful trip to Tokyo with your children!
Excellent — thanks so much for the tips! And thanks for the education…I had it in my head that there would be a place on every street corner (much like Starbucks here in the US!) 🙂
