Our baby is growing so quickly and has so much energy, that trying to entertain him while living in a small apartment in Tokyo can be a real challenge at times! We are always looking for the best toy that will keep him busy both mentally and physically, doesn’t make too much noise (so we don’t annoy our neighbours!), and can still be fun to use in a small space. Last week was our baby’s 1st birthday, so it was a perfect time to test out some new toys! We knew the online shop ‘Toyella‘ has lots of the latest cool toys, so we checked out their website and quickly decided on 2 gifts – the Magnetic Rocket (Toyella’s best seller) and the Glodos BIT Bike. To our delight, our baby LOVES both of them! Here is a video and photos showing him opening the Magnetic Rocket.

What I love about this French Wooden Toy Rocket:

• Beautifully painted wooden rocket
• It feels good to hold – has a lovely weight and each piece snaps into place with the magnetic points
• My baby’s face lights up when the pieces finally click into place (if he’s lucky!) with the magnets. He looks quite tickled with his achievement! (see the video!)
• Cute blue propeller
• Even cuter astronaut inside
• I think my baby will enjoy playing with this toy for years to come – at the moment he is just very curious and every day tries to fit the pieces together. Maybe in another 6-12 months he will be able to actually build the rocket, and after that he can enjoy pretending to fly the rocket to outer space:)

• もちやすい。重すぎず、マグネットの部分もくっつけやすい。
• 最後まで（運良く）組み立てられたとき、子供の顔が輝いた！達成感に満たされたようでした。詳しくは動画を見てください。

• 中に宇宙飛行士がいるのがキュート
• 多分、うちの子はこのおもちゃをこの先何年も使うでしょう。今はとにかく興味があって、パーツを組み合わせることに必死ですが、この先半年から１年の間に、ロケットを作り上げることができるようになると思います。そして、きっとそのロケットを宇宙に飛ばすまねとかするんでしょうね。:)
