I just bought an aprica karoon stroller. Was wondering what car seat for an infant is compatible with this stroller?
Hi Marie, Thanks for your message! I’m sorry I am not sure which carseat would be compatible with the Aprica, but you could ask the staff at the Aprica shop in Daikanyama or at a baby shop such as Akachanhonpo. Here is the address of the Aprica shop in Daikanyama:
渋谷区猿楽町18-8ヒルサイドテラスF棟102
F102 Hillside Terrace, 18-8 Sarugakucho, Shibuya-ku
Here is a link on Tokyo Urban Baby which explains how to get to Akachan Honpo:

Very helpful, thks Kate for doing this and Akiko for the honest user feedback! Appreciate that.
Hi, I’ll be traveling to Tokyo and Karuizawa in end of January with an aprica ria. Do you think it is suitable? I’m worried about the snow, if any. 🙁
Hi Janelle,
Thank you for your message. Aprica should be fine if it doesn’t snow. If it snows in Tokyo, usually the snow only lasts for 1 day in the city and the IT is cleaned up or melts.
Here are some posts which may help! If it does snow, I recommend using a baby carrier with a blanket cover.
