Last week I went to visit my friend and her new baby at Kichijoji, and I was amazed by all the shops and how baby-friendly it was! Kichijoji has a HUGE under-cover mall area with lots of Japanese food stalls and shops – some of the food stalls were evidently very popular as there were hundreds of people lining up to buy from them! In addition to all this excitement there are also lots of department stores with baby nursing facilities and areas for your baby/children to play. Kichijoji is actually one of the most popular places to live in Tokyo – I can see why! It is also not far away – just over a 15 min train ride from Shibuya. Here is a video and some photos!
