One of our guest mums in the Japanese baby food cooking show has some great ideas for freezing baby food to share with us! When Tomoko’s baby just started eating solids, she froze the baby food in ice-cube trays which were just the right size for small portions. However now that he is 7 months old, he is eating much more and Tomoko looked for an alternative to freeze the baby food in larger portions. At the 100yen store she found these colourful plastic obento holders which were perfect! As they are plastic the food slips out easily into a bowl, so very easy to use. Here are some photos!
