Staying at a hotel in Tokyo with a baby

We stayed in a hotel with our baby for the first time last week. It was so much fun! We stayed at Hotel Nikko Tokyo in Odaiba. It was very baby friendly – infants under 2 years can stay for free and the hotel provided a baby cot and baby seat. We booked via the hotel website which had an amazing deal for a late checkin (8pm) and early checkout (10am) – it would have been preferable to checkin at 3pm so that we could get settled and stick with our baby’s sleep routine, but the discount was too good to miss! We were in the middle of moving apartments and on the way back to my husband’s hometown for Golden Week, so we thought this was the perfect time to do something different:-) Our baby fell asleep on the way to the hotel, and then woke up again when we arrived, so we put him in the bath and read him his book, and once he was sound asleep in his cot, we ordered room service and had a lovely dinner with views of the Rainbow Bridge from our balcony. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway:)!!

We would have preferred a double, but the discount we got was only for twin rooms.
Bumbo baby seat was also included in the room.
